What Kind of Poetry Do You Write?

PSecond day of Spring and the official 2017 World Poetry Day is an ideal time to also acknowledge another major event for poets everywhere as April gets closer. Not only does April celebrate National Poetry Month. It will be time for the NaPoWriMo/GloPoWriMo challenge !

The quote by Madeleine L’Engle captures how I and a few others view poetry.

It becomes a looking glass helping me understand those life-got-in-the-way moments, sometimes too overbearing to experience from a practical point of view. As the poetry month of April approaches–and being my first time to participate in NaPoWriMo–I thought it would be good to at least reflect on the question, “What kind of poetry do I write?”

Hope you will take up the 2017 challenge too!
