Where are my glasses?

Where are my glasses?
Where are my glasses?
A mouse runs to greet the rising dawn,
After stopping to mind a marble scampers on.

Where are my glasses?
Where are my glasses?
Incoming waves tickle the seashore.
While seagulls taunt them, cewing, “More, more!”

Where are my glasses?
Where are my glasses?
The kids are up; loving all their commotion.
Quietly begging for silence, always my notion.

Where are my glasses?
Where are my glasses?
Plants wilting again from too much neglect,
Cuing to me, “Quit being frenetic!”

Where are my glasses?
Where are my glasses?
Warmth of the sun blankets my back.
A hand to my shoulder, gives me a tap…

There are my glasses.
